TSDayOut Special Edition: Empire Hotel Subang

After the Amazing race @ Heritage Trail at Klang town, we supposed to check-in to Empire Hotel, Subang. But Adam and I followed Hanip of Tourism Selangor to their office in Shah Alam coz we plan to get our cars out of MBSA. I've decided to drive back and park my 'Raoul' at Setapak, then to take the KTM to Subang Jaya later tonite after dinner while Adam decided to park his car at Empire Hotel and drive directly to KLIA2 the next morning as he has his own 'parking lot' there. We need to rush from MBSA to Empire Hotel because all participants are required to submit completed forms and required items including photos taken during the earlier Heritage Trail by 4pm. Sempat berselfie lagi upon arrival at Empire Hotel that afternoon.
Thanks for the ride from KTM subang jaya to Empire
We managed to reached Empire on time and submitted our photos taken during the amazing race @heritage trail earlier to Naqib.
Busy selecting our photos.
While waiting for my turn to submit the photos, I was given the room key and voucher for dinner tonite at Kitchen Art at Empire Hotel Subang. My roommate is Norhamidah @ Ayue, cute and hyperactive like a bunny that never out of battery energy with pink hair.. hahaa

There will a briefing by Mr Zack, the Marketing Manager of Empire Hotel at 6pm so i've decided to leave immediately right after dinner by 8pm to drive all the way to Setapak.

So first, let's check out the room! Empire Hotel is an exclusive boutique hotel that addresses all aesthetic wishes and practical needs not only for modern and sophisticated traveller but also for corporate individuals and honeymooners. Located strategically at the business district of Subang Jaya, this urban sculpture is nothing short of amazement with its close amenities to Shopping complexes and public transportation.  So as I enter the pure elegance and luxury decoration at Empire, I could feel the warmth and harmonious charm that reflected easily here.
unique reflection - almost like the Inception movie eh?

Sharp 630pm, we were given a brief introduction of what the hotel could offer and their amazing Business Meeting and Wedding theme packages by Mr Zack. With 5 main types of room offered such as Premier Essential, Premier Dualistic, Premier Clique, Empire Sanctuary and  Empire Sanctuary Optima, you will be spoilt for choices on which rooms to stay within your budget. After the briefing with Mr Zack and other participants
Husna of Tourism Selangor brief us of our wake up call time tomorrow morning..Be at the lobby by 5am!
Dinner was at Kitchen Art Brasserie with varieties of Asian Delight spread from Mongolia, Indonesia to local states in Malaysia likes from the Kelantan, Terengganu and Sarawak. yummy.. with the spirit of Halloween, all decorations on desserts are very ghostly looking but still maintain its cuteness overload. Observed the ceiling of the dining area, like a wooden wave that captured my attention the minute I walked in. Their interior design really pay much attention to all this details and that is why it was not a surprised that Empire is one of the hotels that offer great wedding set-up theme packages around town.
Nice ceiling
MAkan time!
Western delight and BBQ corners plus pastries
cute and creative cakes and dessert in the spirit of Halloween
very cozy ambiance to dine in.
Favorite corner to hunt for some fresh grilled seafood

So after dinner while it was raining really heavily with thunderstorm, i've braced myself and drove all the way from Subang to Setapak. Then, thank goodness my housemate, Pooi Yan was around as she dropped me off at Wangsa Maju LRT. I took the train direct to KLSentral and exchanged to Komuter KTM from to Subang Jaya. By the time i reached Subang Jaya it was already 11pm and drizzling. Thanks to Adam that offered to fetch me from Subang Jaya KTM to Empire Hotel.

When I reached hotel room, my roommate, Ayue already fast asleep. Probably also because of the cosy bed with the right room temperature. Aaahh...finally i could land myself on the comfy bed for few hours before waking up at 4am. Wait for my next post, because i am finally flying off to Kuching, Sarawak since I last visited this land of Hornbills in 2007 for the Rainforest World Musical Festival! Wow 8 years has passed and im pretty sure a lot have changed. So excited!
